April Market Update

The Real Estate market improved dramatically in April compared to the first three months of the year. In April, over 20% of the homes on the market sold, which are similar (though slightly lower) than the numbers for the previous two Aprils.

This is typically the time of year when smaller percentages of homes sell each month, due both to higher numbers of listings, and slightly lower sales. April saw the highest number of homes sell since April of 2006. This is certainly a positive sign for the market. We will see soon if the numbers for May continue the trend.
